3 apartments each sleeping up to 4 people in lovely seaside village of Amaliapolis, near Volos, on east coast of mainland Greece. The apartments are within walking distance of a sandy beach and the village centre with restaurants and cafes. Ideal for family holidays or people wanting an ’away from it al’ break - this is a very untouristy area of Greece. It also makes a good base for exploring mainland Greece as Delphi, Meteora and the Pelion peninsula are just a couple of hours’ driving distance. There are other nice sandy beaches within 30 minutes driving distance and many archaeolaogical sites. Renters have use of the large shady garden also with barbecue and children’s play equipment.

In the village centre you will find a choice of cafes/bars and tavernas, with excellent fish, several of which stay open all year, all within walking distance of the villa. The village also has two bakeries and two general stores. The beach is also within walking distance of the apartments and is sandy and gently sloping - making it very suitable for young children. There is also a children’s playground, 5-a-side football pitch and volleyball court next to the beach. In high season there are 2 lively beach bars. In summer Amaliapolis is popular with holidaying Greek families. You can experience the ’real’ Greece here largely untouched by mass market tourism.
