At the heart of the Dordogne valley, Les Vignes is surrounded by rolling countryside but is only a short distance from bustling market towns, supermarkets, restaurants and local attractions - for those of you that can tear yourself away from the large swimming pool and attractive gardens.

The countryside is a favourite with the French for its fabulous walking and cycling routes. Canoeing, golf and horse riding are on the doorstep and there are more castles, theme parks, historic sites and local events than even the most energetic family could visit. Or there’s lounging in the sun with perhaps a stroll over to the fields to feed our twin donkeys.
