Description: Alastair & Elizabeth welcome you to their chambres d’hotes, set in peaceful and comfortable surroundings in Cazaux Villecomtal, within the Gers, Gascony, Midi Pyrenees region. The converted Old School (ancient ecole) being on the top of a hill has magnificent views of the Pyrenees and also stunning surrounding countryside. It is in a quiet village only 4 miles away from the attractive market town of Marciac and 5 miles away from Mirande. It is within easy access of the many pretty bastide villages of the Gers and the dramatic mountains and villages of the Pyrenees. We can offer 6 double / twin bedrooms including a family room, all en suite and 2 guest lounges, all our rooms are to a high standard, we also have large terraces and gardens for the use of our guests. Accommodation Rooms 72 euros per room including continental breakfast served on the terrace. 6 Double / twin rooms all en suite, including a family room. Satellite TV in each room. All rooms finished to a high standard. 4 ground floor bedrooms. Cot and highchair available on request. Lounge Large guests lounge with views of the Pyrenees and rolling hills, doors opening onto the large terrace. Snug with Inglenook fire place, French doors opening onto the large terrace. Large roofed top terrace with seating area which can be either enclosed or opened the full length. The smaller lower open terrace also has seating area. Enclosed large gardens with tables and chairs. A BBQ and a picnic area available for the use of the guests. We have an excellent English chef to cook on Friday evenings and also Sunday lunch times, pre booking is recommended. The area has an enormous amount of history and is unspoilt and unpolluted. The chambre d’hote is surrounded by local wildlife.
