Authentic stone buildings on ancient olive farm beautifully renovated in quiet tranquil setting overlooking the river. Our farm is called La Herradura and was the place in Chris Stewart’s "Driving Over Lemons" that he wanted to buy but was unable to. It is a truly beautiful setting, and ideal for walking holidays, birdwatching, perfect for nature lovers, or just relaxing by the huge pool. There are over 40 acres here to provide you with a feeling of total tranquility. Nature is all around you, there are wonderful views in all directions. The night sky is full of twinkling stars, as we have no light pollution. We are gradually pruning our olive trees and bringing them back into production after many years of neglect, we press small amounts of our own oil. We have no main services, we have solar power, but all the comforts you would expect on your holiday, beautiful shower rooms with fluffy towels.
